Hello everyone,

We have an exciting annoucenement today ! We are proud to announce that as of November 1st, 2020, TAKTIK Marketing will be working with Tyson Foods Canada Inc. Tyson Foods is a modern, multi-national, protein-focused food company producing approximately 20% of the beef, pork and chicken in the United States

As of November 1st, we will begin a three month “transition” period with Tyson. During this time, we will work closely with Roxana Castillo, their Quebec Sales Manager to gain knowledge of Tyson’s portfolio, understanding their current levels of activity with their distributor and operator partners, and of course, develop a forward-looking plan for the launch of full representation beginning February 1, 2021.

Thank you Tyson Foods for your vote of confidence.

François, our sales representative responsible for sales in Quebec City, sends us his observations on how COVID-19 has affected his daily activities.

“This pandemic brings me a very nice gift. I get to see my co-workers every morning!

It may seem trivial, but since I’m based in Quebec City, I don’t normally get to drop by the office everyday day of the week like my coworkers based in Montreal. It may juste be a video call, but it’s nice to see and talk to them on regular basis.

I miss this aspect of my job very much. The camraderie between real colleagues. I usually take comfort in regaining this feeling through visits with customers and distribution partners. However, since that’s also at a standstill, let’s just say that the telephone is the best way to keep in touch. Despite being in a period of uncertainty, customers are happy to talk to us and often take more
time per call to enjoy a nice conversation.

Let’s saty positive, summers comming!

Karine Hudon, our Sales Representative for the north of Montreal, shares her impressions of the new Corona virus pandemic:

“I think it’s difficult to work from home. Distractions can be a source of stress. I had the opportunity to do a web-based presentation from home and it wasn’t easy. Normally, I am the one who visits clients in their kitchen, and that morning it was the opposite. Special thanks to my dog who offered me a few minutes of silence to offer a professional approach to my new clients.”

Simon, sales development representative, sees the containment as a “break” that allows the team to improve. He sees it as an opportunity to learn new ways of operating that will help him be more productive and better serve his customers.

“The current situation allows us to rethink the way we work. Adapting to this crisis remains one of our top priorities and drives us to seek solutions to meet our customers needs. We are turning towards a more digital approach, which is changing our traditional way of doing things. As a result, Taktik marketing remains strong and united in order to deliver to Quebec companies a service that meets their current needs. »
